About me

Dr. Koržinskas was trained in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry in the private practice Dr. Diether Reusch in Westerburg, Germany. In 2009, the German Association of Aesthetic and Functional Dentistry and the European Dental Association (EDA) awarded him the title of Certified Specialist in Aesthetic Reconstructive Dentistry and Functional Science. Only 14 specialists in Europe held this double certification at that time. At the same time, the doctor was invited to join the Society's Specialist Certification Committee. 2009-2014 Dr. Koržinskas worked at J.W. Goethe University Hospital of Frankfurt as a Research Fellow in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery and completed his residency training in oral surgery. Here he completed several clinical trials, was involved in preclinical scientific studies. Besides of teaching abroad his was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education at the university. In 2010-11 he also was the head of the M4 department of the private dental clinic “Zahnkultur” in Cologne.

Since 2014 he has been in private practice in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Besides of clinical work he carried out research and educational activities. 2015-2016 Dr. Koržinskas was a lecturer at the dept. of maxillofacial surgery at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences,. In 2015 he was elected President of the newly created Lithuanian Association of Aesthetic and Functional Dentistry. In 2018, he was granted the first and only Straumann ProArch Center the Award of Excellence in the Baltic States. 2018-2019 Dr. Koržinskas was a member of a research group at the dept. of maxillofacial surgery at the University of Hamburg.
